We also provide early detection and treatment of ocular disease and injury, complete contact lens services including contacts for astigmatism and multifocals and co-management for laser refractive, cataract and glaucoma surgery. DR. VANESSA KOJIMA KIM

Dr. Vanessa Kojima Kim completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995. After graduating from UCI, she attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000, graduating with Honors as part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society. She also earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Science while in Chicago. Her training includes internship rotations at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the VA Medical Center in Montrose, New York, and the Illinois Eye Institute. These rotations concentrated on developing refractive skills, the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, low vision and pediatrics. After earning her Doctorate, Dr. Vanessa Kojima Kim relocated to Las Vegas, NV with her husband, also a Doctor of Optometry, where she has been serving the community ever since.

Dr. Kim’s main focus is on providing full-scope optometric services with an emphasis on total eye care including contact lenses, glass prescriptions, Lasik co-management and eye disease including dry eye, conjunctivitis, cataracts and glaucoma. Her main objective is to simply help her patients achieve and maintain their best possible vision. She is board certified to diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the eye with the use of therapeutic and pharmacological agents. In addition, her practice has some of the latest high-tech equipment and an expertly trained staff, who can help patients understand their eye health and guide them with the best vision correction options and treatments for their needs.
